Louis University (9-10, 3-3) may have taken the bite out
of No. 4 University of Cincinnati
(18-1, 6-0) but still dropped a close home match 54-50 in the
Savvis Center (reported attendance, 12,103). The Billikens led
by 8 points early in the first half but trailed 30-23 by halftime.
A second half march led to a 43-43 tie but stale shooting resulted
in the final margin of victory for the visiting Bearcats; their
18th straight victory this season. SLU guard Marque Perry missed
another game due to injury.
